Lebanon, KY 40033

|
Facility: This historic motel offers clean and newly renovated rooms for both daily and weekly visitors. The residence at Hollyhill Inn is one of Lebanon's truly historic landmarks. Known for years as "Sunnyside," the front hall to the home, including its winding stairway, was added in the early 1850s. Some walls are eighteen inches thick; woodwork is hand carved; floors are ash and poplar. It's the site where Confederate General John Hunt Morgan's brother Tom Morgan was laid out after falling in a battle in Lebanon on July 5, 1863. He was later buried in the garden until the war was over. The motel opened in 1951. Learn about this event at the historic marker located at the entrance to this quaint motel.
Amenities include: Telephone, TV, air conditioning, and some rooms offer a refrigerator. A total of 10 rooms are available for nightly visitors and an additional 10 for weekly visitors.
